I don't think they would take it too seriously, so I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a problem. But I haven't actually asked yet.

And what about you? It's a bit unreasonable of her to ask, but is it going to inconvenience you?

My intentions haven't really changed, so I'll either barter for an alternate release or find a practical marriage for the sake of releasing us. [Perhaps not the most romantic, but romance has been off the table for most of his life.] I can... afford the vacation, but I do not wish to remain absent from Tyria for too long and worry people.

I take it that even in your new role, your absence is likely to be noticed. I feel the same. I don't know why she chose marriage as her condition in the first place, but what's important is being able to return.

I can agree with that. [Even if there are people here he would miss... in the end, home needs him. And he has many he misses there, too.]
